A Playboy da Carol Castro talvez seja a mais esperada do ano, a expectativa é que seja um bom ensaio assim como foi o da Fernanda Paes Leme ou até mesmo o da Bárbara Borges. Não vale nem lembrar dos ensaios que decepcionaram nos últimos tempos... fotos pouco ousadas e com muito Photoshop. A atriz chegou a colocar algumas fotos de bastidores do ensaio, em seu Blog (é só procurar no arquivo de julho). Se encontrar algum link na net com mais fotos, disponibilizo aqui. Reestilização no Citroën C3

Antes de mais nada, vejam as fotos do novo Citroën C3. Se era para melhorar, porque não melhorou? Será que a PSA realmente acreditou no resultado de suas clínicas? Mas, se era realmente para melhorar, porque não colocou o pára-choque do modelo europeu? A grade é a mesma do europeu porém, no nosso ela é preta e é rodeada por um friso cromado meio esquisitão. Não me conformei com o pára-choque... O flagra é do site InterpressMotor, com fotos de um leitor. Putz, esqueci de comentar a traseira: aí sim, ficou igual à do europeu (imagem acima)! Mudança quase imperceptível.

Revelado o Novo Ford Ka Europeu

Nesta terça-feira, surgiu de forma questionável, a primeira imagem do novo Ford Ka europeu. Explica-se: ao que parece, a foto foi divulgada por uma revista inglesa, sem autorização da Ford. Voltando ao carro... se assemelha bastante ao novo Fiesta, só que em dimensões menores. A traseira lembra um pouco a do atual Opel Corsa. O novo Ka é produzido em conjunto com a Fiat, na Polônia, de onde também sai o Fiat 500. Seus motores? Um 1,4L e 1,6L a gasolina e outro 1,6TDiesel. É bem possível que o carrinho seja apresentado no Salão de Paris.

CLR X650 BMW X6 by Lumma

Tuning companies are catching on to the all powerful teaser image, and German tuner, Lumma Design, have issued theirs - with the controversial BMW X6 model. Love it or hate it, the BMW X6 Coupe Crossover is an interesting car and Lumma's CLR X650 is no different – yet in a different character.

With a beefy front bumper fascia, which contains no less than 6 air vent openings, the entire kit gets a dash of aggression with side skirts and quarter panel leg vents plus revised mirrors, however, the added attitude comes from the 40mm suspension drop with the 23-inch arch filling black dished wheels.

Neste último final-de-semana, os organizadores do novo circuito de rua de Valencia - Espanha, fizeram os primeiros testes com corridas. Em 2008 a cidade sediará o GP da Europa de Fórmula 1. O circuito foi construído na Marina de Valencia e os primeiros pilotos a curtirem a nova pista, foram os da Fórmula 3 espanhola e da International GT Open. Segundo os organizadores, foi um sucesso! Ferrari F430 Scuderia by Novitech

The Ferrari F430 Scuderia is one car most people would have no problem in adding to my fantasy garage, the 510 horsepower supercar capable of doing 320km/h is more than sufficient to to satisfy most of our lusts. But should you wish for something a little extra why not enlist the help of specialist Ferrrari tuner Novitec Rosso who have just released their own tuning package boosting the engine up to a monstrous 717 horsepower bringing the top speed up to 348km/h and the 0-62mph time down to just 3.5 seconds.

The engine gets new belt driven twin-superchargers with a limited boost pressure of 0.48 bar, the heat insulated intake manifold have been redesigned to provide the engine with pre-compressed air and the it also gets two high performance air filters and eight larger injectors. The extra heat generated from the additional power is cooled with a higher capacity coolant system.

The subtle interior modifications include a new flat bottomed sports steering wheel featuring leather and carbon fibre materials as well as carbon-fibre shift paddles.

Gallardo Superleggera by Edo Competition

Following the tuned Murciélago LP 640, edo competition presents its second Lamborghini project with the Gallardo Superleggera.

Through high flow breathing components such as a massive air box and newly designed high flow catalytic converters plus a recalibrated engine control unit, the Gallardo SLE produces 30hp (22 kW) more to 560 hp (411 kW) at 8,250 rpm. Top speed is bumped up to about 6 km/h (4 mph) to 320 km/h (199 mph) and 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) arrives in 3.7 seconds and 0 – 200 km/h (124 mph) in 11.7 seconds.

Also, 19-inch three piece racing wheels shod in stock-sized or 245/35 ZR 19 (F) 305/30 ZR 19 (R) Dunlop Sport Maxx tires plus 15mm lowered suspensions and smoked side turn signals round out the package, except for one last detail.

The exhaust system's sound volume can be adjusted at the press of a button via remote control. Check out the video above for demonstration.

Volkswagen Fox by RDX Racedesign

The Volkswagen Fox may not be on the top of your list for an aerodynamic make-over, but RDX Racedesign caters for a niche market of Fox fans. RDX designed a new front spoiler with integrated grille, side sills and a new rear apron to give the rather conservative small car a brand new look.

The RDX badgeless front end lends the Fox with a Golf GTI-look while the new Audi S6 daylight running lights are an optional extra. The side sills and rear diffuser match perfectly and RDX has left the rear bumper without tailpipe cut-outs, leaving that to the discretion of their customers.

The body kit is fully TÜV certified and approved and costs just over Euro 615.

Mercedes SLR Mclaren 740hp by Renntech

When we first heard of the Mercedes SLR Mclaren 722, we all licked our lips at the prospect of a 722 horsepower engine, but when the final figure of 650hp was released it left a sour taste in our mouth. Renntech soon put that sweet taste back with their own tuning package which boosted the supercar's power up to where it should be at 722 horses, and now by popular demand the tuning house has pumped yet more ponies out of the 5.4-liter supercharged engine bringing total power up to 740hp

For the upgraded tuning package Renntech have re-worked the ECU software and added a less restrictive motorsports-style exhaust system to get the extra ponies to the new Renntech Signature 10-spoke, 3 piece performance wheels.

For an extra bit of added spice the tuner has also provided a nice little video in which you can hear the engine.

2009 Roush RTC Ford Mustang Unveiled

Roush has unveiled their limited edition 2009 Roush RTC Mustang at the National Mustang Show over the weekend. The RTC is a two-tone coupe Mustang with a black top and Ford's base color on the bottom and comes adorned in a Roush four-piece body kit (Front Fascia, Front Chin Spoiler, Hood Scoop, and Rear Wing), high-flow nine bar grille and rides on unique 20 inch chrome wheels.

The 2009 Roush RTC should arrive at dealers shortly and is expected to set you back USD 13,375 for the base package. The optional chrome ROUSHcharger for a total of 430 bhp costs another USD 6,250.

Ford will be releasing a brand new Mustang starting in the 2010 model year, so this Roush will be one of the last for the current S-197 body style.

Audi Q7 Street Rocket by JE Design

JE Design has issued their second interpretation of the Audi Q7. The Q7 Street Rocket represents a toned down less obese looking body package compared to its Q7 Wide Body predecessor, just without all of the bulbous overhangs such as the wide body fender flares.

Looking closely between the two kits the Street Rocket sheds the excessive wide body fender and quarter panel wheel arch flares. As a result, the front bumper lower spoiler gets redesigned to fit the new width dimensions of the body and the rear bumper gets simplified as well in the same fashion. However, the overall design details of the front and rear bumpers remains the same. Gone are the roof spoiler extensions which extend down the side of the D-pillar. Sporting a brandy wine color the interior gets splashed with matching red accents and stitching.

Overall, this looks like a less bloated version which is a big improvement.
