Toyota will take the wraps off a facelifted Avensis at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week – and this is the first image of the new Ford Mondeo rival.
The changes include revised exterior styling, with a new front end that follows Toyota's latest family look. The quality and feel of the interior have been improved and changes made to the powertrains and driving dynamics. Toyota says these changes represent the largest mid-life investment it has made for any model.
In addition, the firm will show off the Prius Plug-in, which is the most technically advanced Prius yet, with CO2 emissions as low as 49g/km and the Prius+ MPV too. Emitting less than 100g/km of CO2, it'll be the first hybrid seven-seater to go on sale in Europe.
The firm will also reveal the new 2012 Hilux and the three-door version of the recently launched new Yaris. For more details click here.
