14-inch ThinkPad Edge E425 and
15.6-inch ThinkPad Edge E525 notebooks which are slimmer than previous models comes with
anti-glare or glossy LED displays powered by
AMD’s A-Series APUs with
VISION Pro Technology with an integrated
AMD Radeon graphics with DirectX 11 support and has pre-loaded with
Windows 7 OS.

It comes with upto
8GB DDR3 RAM and upto
750 GB of storage. Expansion and connectivity options include
WiFI, HDMI out, USB/eSATA combo port, 4-in-1 card reader, built-in webcam, optional fingerprint reader, and a DVD burner. It presents the following color options -
heatwave red and midnight black and has
accelerometer for sensing its orientation. With Lenovo
AutoLock technology, the webcam detects when the user walks away and locks up the PC in his or her absence.

The laptops offers up to
6 hours battery life and provides
ThinkVantage Active Protection. The ThinkPad Edge E425 and E525 laptops will be available starting in
August with prices starting at $549.
