Samsung unleashes 'console-quality gaming' with its new Galaxy R which has a dedicated GeForce GPU. Actually it is available currently in Sweden as Galaxy Z. Let ponder more news in detail.The Samsung Galaxy R comes with 4.19" 800x480pixel multi-touch WVGA Super Clear LCD display powered by Nvidia's Tegra 2 dual-core processor runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Galaxy R has 5MP Dual rear camera with LED flash capable of recording videos at 720p HD and it also has a 2MP Dual front facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy R has 8GB of storage built-in and is expandable upto 32GB and has the popular TouchWiz UI, Adobe Flash Player support. It's connectivity includes microUSB v2.0, MicroSD slot, 3.5 mm audio jack.
The network options of Galaxy R includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, 3G HSPA, A-GPS support, Bluetooth v3.0 + HS. The Sensor options includes multiTouch input sensor, Accelerometer sensor(helps orientation of display), Proximity sensor(for detecting whether you are in a call and turn off display), Gyroscope sensor(detects current geographical location).
The Galaxy R has a dimension of 125.7x66.7x9.55mm and weighs 135gms and comes with Li-Ion 1650mAh standard battery. It is already available in Sweden for 3995 Swedish kronor which is approximately €435 and $630 or you can buy it for free if you sign a two-year contract with the carrier Three in Sweden. It will be available soon in Europe and Asia. But no news about its U.S launch may be it's because of the disputes between the apple there.
